After receiving invaluable feedback during the public beta, the MultiDisplay Manager has been improved, polished, and is now ready for full launch and public release. Designed for commercial and retail spaces, the MultiDisplay Manager can also be used in residential and hospitality deployments for intuitive control. Commonly used configurations can be saved as Presets and Favorited to the room view for single-touch execution.

Using Composer Pro or Composer Express, update to OS 3.2.2 to add a fully featured OvrC Pro remote management agent to your existing Control4 system. Whether a touch screen is installed in a child’s bedroom, sports bar, or boardroom, sometimes you want to limit access to certain individuals, or let everyone have access to just a few things. The new capabilities in the Access agent, together with the Identity and UI Configuration agents, let you define the level of access users get on individual touch screens and on-screen television interfaces.

AUTOMATIC AND MANUAL
SCREEN LOCKING
In addition to locking or hiding elements within the user interface, you can also require a PIN code to access a Control4 touch screen and on-screen interface at all. What’s more, you can have the screen automatically lock after a period of time, or manually lock it right from the interface – a great feature to prevent your party guests from touching your playlist!
AUTOMATIC UPDATES FOR
TOUCHSCREENS AND TV INTERFACES
With the introduction of the Neeo Remote we simplified the way you upgrade smart home products. As Neeo software updates are released, they are pushed automatically to customers without the need to update the project’s OS. Starting with release 3.1.3, this capability is now supported in Control4 T3 touchscreens and on-screen TV interfaces. This means less work for you! Your customers running release 3.1.3 will automatically get new graphical elements on Neeo, the on-screen TV interface, and touchscreens. Each software release will be thoroughly tested before it is released. Get early access to new software by joining our beta test group and try the software before it is released to customers.

ROOM SWITCHING
NOW AVAILABLE ON-SCREEN
The latest release of Smart Home OS 3 adds room switching to the Control4 on-screen TV interface so customers can control supported experiences for any room. Whether you are in the family room or the master bedroom, you can now switch the on-screen interface to another room to control Watch, Listen, Security Cameras, Lighting, Custom Buttons, and favorites in any room.
To update to release 3.1.1, simply launch Composer Pro for OS 3. Composer Pro will notify you that an update to Release 3.1.1 is available, or you can select Check for Updates under the Help menu.
NOW MORE SECURE
NO DEFAULT PASSWORD
Beginning with OS 3 release 3.1.1, Control4 systems are even more secure with the elimination of a system default password. For most situations, there is no change for your customers and how they interact with their Control4 system. For technicians, all authentication with Control4 systems is done through Composer, so there is no longer a need to enter or change a system’s default password. ON-SCREEN TV INTERFACE
NOW INCLUDES LIGHTING
The Control4 on-screen TV interface now includes full access to lighting and lighting scenes for the whole home. You can quickly switch from the Room view to All Rooms and even filter to only those lights and scenes that are turned on or active.
MORE CONTROL IN
MEDIA SESSIONS
The Media Sessions screen lets you see and control music and video content that is playing throughout your home. And now it is more powerful—providing transport controls (play, pause, skip, previous, thumbs up/down, etc.) for each session plus room-level mute, volume control, and room off.
INTERCOM NOW WITH
MORE DOOR STATIONS
Third-party door stations can now be integrated with Control4 Intercom and the Intercom Anywhere app. A new certified driver works with door stations from 2N, Comelit, and Akuvox. Driver developers can now also create drivers for other door stations using a new door station template driver available through the DriverWorks SDK.
PUSH NOTIFICATIONS
NOW WITH SNAPSHOTS
Customers can now receive a snapshot image with their Control4 push notifications. Drivers for Luma Surveillance cameras have been updated to support this feature and are available online through Composer Pro. 4Sight subscription required.
Driver developers can create or update drivers for other IP cameras to now include snapshot images for push notifications.
PINCH, ZOOM, PAN
IP CAMERA IMAGES
Now you have even more control to see exactly what you want when viewing IP cameras from your Control4 interfaces. Pinch, zoom, and panning of IP camera images is now available on the T3 touch screen and Android/iOS mobile devices, enabling customers to zoom in, zoom out, or pan a camera image, even with fixed-lens cameras.
VOICE CONTROL NOW WITH
GOOGLE ASSISTANT
Control4 customers can now integrate Google Assistant into their Control4 Smart Home for voice control of their lights, lighting scenes, blinds, locks, thermostats, and ceiling fans. And, best of all, there is no need to roll a truck since your customers can connect their Control4 system to their Google Assistant using their Google Home app.
COMPOSER PRO OS 3
ONE VERSION
Now a single version of Snap One's Composer Pro can manage all systems running OS 3.0+. Unlike previous releases of Snap One's Composer Pro, installing the latest update (Composer 3.1) will replace Composer 3.0, and future updates will be installed automatically. You no longer need to manually install future versions of Composer Pro.
